Here a nice entertaining area was installed and a fence added to create privacy and enclosure. After Before The paver walk leads to the main entertaining area with a natural cedar pergola installed which gives a sense of enclosure to the patio area and is a great place to hang potted plants. After Before The steep slope offered many design and installation problems. A natural retaining wall and stair system was installed to make a great transition to the lakeshore below. After Before Plantings, lannon stone steps and walls, a paver walk and New York Bluestone veneer on the front porch were the elements used here to transform this front yard. After Before The narrow sidewalk and sloped front yard made this entry area unappealing and unusable. These challenges were overcome by adding a fieldstone retaining wall which allowed for a more substantial front entry transition from the driveway to the front door. Holland and Rhodes pavers were installed making the front entry more usable and inviting as well as adding great curb appeal to the home. After Before This backyard lacked the charm this cape cod home deserved. This was remedied by a design that called for removal of existing concrete steps and patio. In their place, Holland stone pavers and lannon park steps were installed to add the needed charm. The flagstone pathway not only provides access to this cozy space but also allows the owner to enjoy the waterfall and pond along the way. After Before New York Blue Stone and Brussels pavers are used here to transform the front entryway. The design was inspired from the architecture of the home. After Before The new patio and fire pit area gives the owners many opportunities to enjoy the sunsets and gather around a warm fire. After Before Small spaces can also be transformed into beautiful garden spaces. Lannon flagstone and Chilton wall stone border the surrounding plantings and the raised herb garden. After Before The split rail fence and shrubs were removed and Holland stone pavers were installed to make the entryway more inviting.
